Kids Discovery Factory is currently closed as we undergo exciting renovations to build our new museum. You can learn more about our construction project here. We can’t wait to welcome you back when our expanded museum opens in 2026! In the meantime, here’s a preview of what you can expect when we reopen. Please note that details may change as we get closer to our grand reopening.
Plan your future visit to Kids Discovery Factory!​
Getting Here: We are located at 110 Sycamore Street in Batesville, Indiana. We are conveniently located downtown within walking distance of restaurants, a coffee shop, and shopping.

Parking: Public parking can be found south of our building at the corner of South and Sycamore Street. There is also public parking available off of George Street and Pearl Street north of the museum.
Hours of Operation: We will be open 6 days a week from mid-morning to evening, providing a variety of opportunities for school groups and families to visit.

Ages: You're never too old to play! Our exhibits, programs, camps and classes
are specially designed for kids birth to
14 years old.
Admission: Just like other museums, we will charge a
per-person admission price to anyone over the age of 1 year old. There will be opportunities for free or discounted admission through the Museums for All program, memberships, large group discounts, and veteran and senior discounts. ​​
